iBagnet Resto Grill :@) :@) :@)

Metrowalk, Meralco Ave.
Ortigas Center, Pasig City

I rarely eat Filipino food... but when I do... iBagnet

Personally I'm not a fan of Filipino cuisine. So every time my friends suggest we try a Filipino restaurant I'm usually disappointed by the end of the night. iBagnet is one of the few Filipino restaurants that have not fallen on that trend so that's good for me, and you guys too.

Bagnet :@) :@) :@)

Presenting the star of the restaurant... the Bagnet. It's so crispy on the outside and the meat is extremely juicy. It just tastes great and its perfect for pulutan and as a main course. If you choose iBagnet, this is the must order dish.

Crispy Hito :@) :@) :@)

People usually shy away from catfish (hito) because it has an earthy taste. If cooked the right way though it's really one of the more flavorful fishes found. The deep fried part doesn't hurt either, and my professor in chef's school said that people go out to eat to find crunchy things that aren't burnt. Another hit on our table.

Black Squid :@) :@) :@)

Its your adobong squid but made in a special way. It's a different recipe from your traditional adobo which tastes salty and sour. This has an additional dimension of sweetness which just makes it extra ordinary.

Bopis Rice :@) :@)

Fried rice with bopis. Can't really expound on that :).

One of the better Filipino restaurants in the metro. Check it out.

Try their Banana Orange shake it's tops :)
