Nav: Modern Thai Cuisine :@) :@) :@)

More Thai Cuisine Please....

As a guy who's family isn't really a fan of big strong flavors, and me being the opposite, I rarely get to try out  restaurants that serve Thai cuisine. I've tried some on my own, but in the end its still better to eat with friends   :@). So me and my buddies went to try out Nav in Kapitolyo, and boy did my taste buds go wild.

Here's our selection for the night

Pad Thai :@) P280 ($6.00)

It's good, but compared to the other things we tried this dish had no real wow factor. Don't get me wrong it tastes wonderful as well flavors and textures worked out nicely.

Wok Fried Squid :@) :@) :@) P260 ($5.25)

The harmony of flavors is amazing... Some sweet some salty some spice, it's one of the best things I've eaten in awhile

Penang Curry Beef Brisket :@) :@) :@) P420 ($9.25)

As a curry fan, I love this. Beef was soft and moist, curry was just right. It was spicy, consistency was great and also the texture. Honestly I was spooning over the sauce on my rice when all the beef was gone.

Bagoong Rice :@) :@) :@) P225 ($5.00)

When you take your first bite, it has that wow factor that makes it different from other places. Remember to mix before eating. My friend goes crazy for this dish. It normally serves 4, but he can chug it down alone.

Yellow Curry Whole Crab and Cherry Tomatoes P580 ($12.75) :@) :@) :@)

It's crab... It's fresh and with great curry.... nothing to complain about... unless you don't know how to remove the shell.

If you like to eat some Thai cuisine head on over now. You won't regret it.

Happy Pigout :@)
