Another one of the more famous froyo peddlers in the metro.

Personally I love how it seems pretty comfortable eating here. This is probably our most frequented branch when looking for froyo. Honestly its nothing spectacular, pretty much the same with regards to the rest. Yogurt taste is fine. The toppings are pretty much what you find in your generic favored place; cereals, fruits, candy etc. Price range is pretty fair

So I was waiting for my friend around the Tomas Morato Area for a couple of hours so I decided to go take a bite first at David's Teahouse to pass the time. I couldn't pass up the opportunity anyway because me and this restaurant go way back. I used to treat myself and my buddies to a meal here of the classic holy triumvirate of Chinese food (salt and pepper squid, sweet and sour pork and lemon chicken) after exams when i was still in high school. Sadly the greenhills branch closed down when they renovated what was then Virramall and I haven't eaten in David's Teahouse for about 7 years. So I went in fingers crossed that their quality didn't degrade which happens often in the Philippines when you become an established restaurant that has been around for more than 5 years. I apologize for the lousy pictures, cellphone camera.

Well after the 7 year wait here we go

David's Teahouse initial set up, besides the obviously missing chop sticks its pretty standard for a Philippine teahouse. House tea is fine, nothing that rocks your socks though.

This place was one of my favorite restaurants ever since i was a kid. From their pizza's, gambas, and my all time favorite...MANGO JUBILEE!

Its been a while since i came back to this restaurant. Maybe a good 3-4 years (im 21 now). But the memories i had with this place was always a good one. As such, i was excited to see if anything changed for better or worst.

The specialty of the house, "Pilo-Gaw" is basically an assortment of ingredients such as: Garlic chips, quail eggs, green onion, chicken, and what seems to be beef innards.

The pork and shrimp roll on the other hand, is your basic dimsum, rolled with what I assume to be tofu skin (I could be wrong).
