Dome Cafe :@)

Before anything, please forgive me for the crappy picture. Didn't have my camera on that day ; P

Dome Cafe

Originally from Australia, Dome café brings to the Philippines a great selection of coffee, salads, pastas, main dishes, and desserts. This coffee shop may not have the super friendly and welcoming staff of starbucks but it has more of an up scale and professional feel.More importantly, it didnt have the "wanabe-serious" college students crowd starbucks has.

I start off by ordering a classic spaghetti bolognese. The pasta was good but nothing special, but hey its spaghetti bolognese. However, the HUGE garlic bread was GREAT! Crispy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside. THE PERFECT GARLIC BREAD! I can honestly say it is one of the best garlic breads I have ever eaten.

I then finish off, with some flourless chocolate cake and a shot of some old fashioned espresso. Chocolate cake was perfect, not to sweet, not to bitter. And the strong flavor of the espresso defnitely paired well with the cake.

Coffee P60 ($1.25)

Taste :Great Food, Great Coffee, enough said
Service : Helpful and knowledgeble staff
Ambiance/Cleanliness :Great ambiance. Rustic feel.
Attire: Casual
Price: 300Php (5$)
Other Recommendations: They also offer salads, sandwiches, and meals. I would defnilty try their sandwiches the next time.

All in all, although this place is expensive, the quality of the food is worth it. In addition, this isnt the place to go to if you are a student looking for a place to study or relax. Nor is it a place for a coffee date. I personally believe this place targets the older people who really knows how to appreciate coffee, and prefers to have that appreciattion alone

Happy Pigout! :@)
