Mien San :@) :@)

Mien San Noodle House
36 Villa Ortigas II, Granada St.,
Quezon City
724-8388

First and Foremost, i would like to apologize for the crappy pics.
The thing is, my mom just took this home after work, so the food is kinda
messy already.

Anyways, here it is! One of my favorite Taiwan noodle houses in the Philippines.
If you are looking for Taiwanese food, there is no comparison. Mien San is the
only legit Taiwanese restaurant in the Philippines.

Although i would order: Taiwan beef noodle, Fried Onion Pancake, and Pork Chop rice,
As i said, my mom took these home, so i had no choice on what to order. So for now, i will review:

Fried Siopao- this tastes just like the one in Shilin Night Market!!! It tastes awesomely good and awesomely authentic! Its basically fried bola-bola siopao with a hint of chinese wine.

Yellowcab has been around for a pretty long time now. As the name suggests, it is
supposed to be this pizza parlor new york style. Does it live to its name? To find out

I decided to order two of the most "new yorkish" pizzas.... The Pepperoni and Four
Cheese!

Dome Cafe :@)

Before anything, please forgive me for the crappy picture. Didn't have my camera on that day ; P

Dome Cafe
Ground Level, Shangri-La Plaza Mall
6359746
10am-8pm
Check other branches at http://www.dome.com.ph/

Originally from Australia, Dome café brings to the Philippines a great selection of coffee, salads, pastas, main dishes, and desserts. This coffee shop may not have the super friendly and welcoming staff of starbucks but it has more of an up scale and professional feel.More importantly, it didnt have the "wanabe-serious" college students crowd starbucks has.

Lugawan Republic :@) :@)

So today, I decided to go for some old-fashioned pinoy comfort food. As suggested by some forum members, I decided to pigout in...

LUGAWAN REPUBLIC!!!
45 Timog Ave, brgy South Triangle, quezon city (02) 372-8844
or
Metrowalk, Meralco Ave. Ortigas Center.

The specialty of the house, "Pilo-Gaw" is basically an assortment of ingredients such as: Garlic chips, quail eggs, green onion, chicken, and what seems to be beef innards.

The pork and shrimp roll on the other hand, is your basic dimsum, rolled with what I assume to be tofu skin (I could be wrong).

Razons: :@)

Razon's of Guangua
22 Jupiter Street Bel-Air Village, Makati 897-2481 or
Pasig City Golf, Ortigas Center
and many more branches.

This afternoon, I decided that I needed something to cool my body down. What better way than to pigout on....HALOHALO!!! After driving around, and trying to decide where to get good halo-halo, I decided to try out the famous Razon's Halo-Halo.

Razon's is actually a famous restaurant found in the province of PIGOUTS, Pampanga. The owner go so much customers coming all the way from Manila, that he decided to branch out to the metro.

Bun 'n the Run :@) :@)

Bun on the Run

Metro Walk, Meralco Ave., Ortigas Center

Thats right!!! its finally back!!! Bun on the Run was once THE ultimate burger joint. For some unknown reason, it slowly disappeared during the late 90's.

But now its back, and newly renovated. You'll notice they kinda revamped the logo and improved the cleanliness of the stall.
But enough about the stall, lets talk about the food...Hmmm....what should i order............?
DUH!!! CHORIBURGER!!!!! This has always been my favorite ever since I was a kid, and im definitely looking to bring back childhood memories...

Kowloon West :@) :@)

Kowloon West
Kowloon West has several branches in metro manila (San Juan, Libis, Greenbelt, West Ave.)
The one I went to is in Libis, its across Eastwood city, near Jolibee. If you want info. on the location of the others, just post a comment, and ill do my best to help you out.
If you are anything like me, then I'm pretty sure, u make a habit of late night escapades in search for a place to pigout and have a late night snack.

Kowloon West has been around for ages. This place is well known for its cheap Chinese Dimsum and Mami's...okay fine, they're just known for their siopao. (the rest aren't really the best tasting, in fact, im not even going to put a review on them)

But nevertheless, its definitely value for your money, and the siopao is to die for!!!
