Crave Burger :@) :@)

112-A Katipunan Ave. White Plains, Quezon City

Welcome to Crave Burger

So we noticed our readers love their burgers. To serve you better we're continuing our hunt for the greatest burger joint in town. We bring you today Crave Burger.

Crave Burger. My friends and co-writer love this place. They even go as far as saying that its probably the best burger in the Philippines. Initially, I got their double crave burger, but was left disappointed as it was extremely dry. I could've been extremely unlucky or the kitchen was bogged down by the number of orders. Nevertheless, first impressions weren't good.

After being hesitant to come back, my friends convinced me to try it again since they were still raving about it. I ordered the CC1 combo which is a crave burger with fries a choice of drink (I got the blue lemonade). After dreading the first bite it was actually quite juicy and tasty. I started to understand how it could be one of the better burger places around.

So here goes my honest review on the burger.

CC Combo 1 + Blue Cheese P185 + P35 ($4 + $1)

Taste
The patty was GREAT....juicy, but not too oily. On a bad day however, it could get dry.
Of the four times I have been here, I've got great burger patties twice. The other two times resulted in epic burger failure.

I also doubt their claim as being 100% beef, I feel some of the usual extenders are being used on the burger patty. Still great tasting though... sometimes.

Their caramelized onions aren't caramelized at all. I just take them out, not a whole fan of raw onion taste.

The Bread and fries are ok, nothing special, not bad either.

The drinks are pretty good. Too bad they are pretty expensive for a small glass, its better just to get the combo to save some cash.

Area
Personally its a bit cramped but there is a TV to keep you occupied while waiting for your order.

Overall
Crave burger is pretty good most of the time. I would've highly recommended this place if they were consistent. Since my current odds on enjoying this place is 50-50 I'm not that happy. When they get it right though it's pretty foodgasmic. Value for money wise Crave Burger is pretty great since they serve you with a huge burger patty at a decent price.

Note: Stay away from their milkshake at P90 ($2) its way too overpriced, its not thick at all which makes it bad.

Happy Pigout :@)

Thanks for the suggestion... I'll ask my friends from the south about it since I'm still not familiar with paraƱaque and will probably get lost... I'll probably visit that place during june or july when the school year starts again since I study near the fort making the trip south bearable :D

@Anonymous

For me not really... :P, I find brother's, charlie's and Bite Club more appealing... that's me though

my friends do agree with you though making me the odd man out :(

I come from the US and when they say that its 100% beef patty they actually mean it! I found the patties to be so full of filler that it didn't have the kind of resistance to the bite that a all meat burger would have. Won't be going back!

Sadly what you said is true. I agree that it's frustrating to see signs or ads saying 100% pure beef only to be disappointed... In the end though its still one of the better burger places in the metro.
