Mushroom Burger :@) :@) :@)

297 Katipunan Ave. Loyola Heights.
Quezon City. 882-8888

Tagaytay's healthiest burger...just got closer...

Say goodbye to long drives to Tagaytay, as Mushroom burger just got closer!

Mushroom burger started out, well ....selling mushrooms!

On one faithful day, a customer pointed out that where he is from, mushrooms are more expensive than beef. So why not make burgers?

With the help of a Swiss Executive Chef, Mushroom burgers opened its first branch in Tagaytay.
(info from official website: http://www.mushroomburger.com.ph/)

With its unique blend of sweetness and zest, Mushroom Burgers has become a fan favorite among the locals.

Branch opens in Katipunan making it a lot more convenient for those that dont live near Tagaytay and/or West Ave.

and guess what?

and...

so make sure you bring your...

then order...

Mushroom Burger w/ Cheese :@) :@) :@)  Php70.00 (1.5$)

The combination of meat and mushroom perfectly creates a slight sweetness that pinoys love so much.

Couple that with the zest of the special sauce they add, you have a very unique and delightful burger.

Mushroom Burger King :@) :@) :@)  Php 119.00 (2$)

Double the patty...double the delight...

Mushroom Burger Royale :@) :@) Php 95.00 (1.8$)

Its the same mushroom burger with an omelet of guess what??.....MUSHROOMS!

Personally, I find it a little overboard as I like my burgers simple. Taste-wise though, no complains.

Mushroom Burger also sells rice meals!!!

Beef w/ mushrooms :@) :@)

I usually make it a rule to never get rice meals on fast food joints. The rice is hard, the meat is of low quality, and most probably just reheated.

I make another rule to make sure not to get rice meals on fast food joints that don't sell rice meals as their main product.

However, I was quite shocked on how this dish actually tasted quite good!

It was beef w/ mushrooms on what I am guessing Chinese oyster sauce, as I was actually reminded of food from my house.

Meat was tender, mushrooms were great.

Overall, it tasted like good old Chinese take out...not bad for a fast food joint.

I would highly recommend Mushroom Burgers, for your pigout.

I'm glad that I've found this pigoutphilippines.blogspot.com web site. I have to say that it's a wonderful blog! I love how detailed each of the entries are. They are well balanced - funny and informatory - and the pictures are cool too.

It's my first time today to try out this new fastfood chain. I went to their Katipunan branch and tried their 'Beef Mushroom' rice meal which costs P115. My comment: ANG LANSA, KADIRI. Mas na-enjoy ko pa yung boiled adobo egg at side dish na kasama ng meal na ito. I didn't even avail of their unlimited rice option and left the food half-consumed. They should eliminate this item from their menu and just stick to making burgers.

Now I'm reluctant to even try their mushroom burger line of items because of this experience.
